These ornaments conjure up memories for us - of a Palestinian friend who brought us a dozen goregously hand-carved olive wood Christmas ornaments from the West Bank long ago.  These very traditional, very symbolic ornaments represent several scenes from Jesus' birth story - the Angel's Message, Mary & Joseph,  the Holy Family's Journey, and the Three Kings.  Still made in various locations in the West Bank, where Jesus' story began, makes these special ornaments even more meaningful.
