Handmade from Indian cloth, these Kantha ornaments are sewn with running stitches, demonstrating the classically traditional embroidery methods of the Indian women artisans who crafted them.  Both the Star and Heart ornaments support the sustainable practices that the women use in gathering the fabric for the ornaments, as well as supporting the artisans and their communities through employment, fair wages, and education opportunities.
